ESAPro MTO allows the estimate of piping materials,
before the actual development of the detailed project.
The program presides to the operations of manual data entry of
components and automatically generates material lists.
ESAPro MTO is fully integrated with the other ESAPro modules
with which it shares the
Specification Management
program and the main database.
Once defined within a project a pipeline,
its related piping class and ND, the user is allowed to access all
and only those components provided by the piping class,
select them in the required quantity and insert them
into the project data base.
Once ended the data entry procedure,
the material lists can be generated with the same extremely
versatile procedure of the other programs.
The output files in standard ASCII, Excel format
guaranties the creation of documents complying with whichever
company standard.
Beside the above described stand alone mode
the program can operate
alongside
ESApro P&ID.
In this case the material take-off is automatically generated as far as line lists,
components represented in P&ID (valves and line components) or inferable
from it (flanges, branches and reducers).
The fittings which can not be deduced from P&ID, such as elbows,
and the pipe lengths must be inserted manually under control of the
piping classes as usual. As an alternative these last data can be
estimated automatically by the program on the basis of algorithms
set by the user.
