This module
performs the head loss computation in a
complex network which is part of the
tridimensional model of the
plant.
Once the user has
selected the path of the fluid in the 3D
model, the program extracts the sequence
of components and equipment and generates
a worksheet pre-filled with the
geometrical data deduced from the 3D model
and the resistance coefficients or
equivalent lengths taken from the
components database. Once entered the
other necessary data (starting pressure,
flow rate, fluid characteristics etc.) the
computation is performed. The used
algorithms comply with the recommendations
of "ASHRAE Handbook
Fundamentals".
